The vibrant city of UAE – Dubai is set to turn into a kaleidoscope of cuisines during the Ramadan Season. In fact, the Ramadan evenings in Dubai will have the irresistible aroma of ghee, spices, dry fruits and everything going to be delicious. Right from the city’s first floating Iftar to luxury hotels & restaurants, Iftar in Dubai is going to be a never before seen glitzy affair this year.
Fasting citizens can treat themselves to a hearty and filling meal as many hotels and restaurants set to dish out a cornucopia of Iftar dishes throughout the month. But, with so many options, the choice of Iftars can seem a little bit intense.
So, to help you we scoured Dubai and rounded up the best blow-out, dinners, and buffet this Ramadan in every budget. Don’t forget to try the first floating Iftar joint too.
If you are looking for a family style Iftar in a relaxed setting, then head to Sobo and enjoy a wide range of hot and cold mezze, followed by mixed grill platter with rice and Arabic sweets and fruits for dessert.

Are you looking for a different Iftar experience this Ramadan? Then Dubai’s home-grown Japanese eatery Atisuto has the perfect answer. Head to Atisuto and conclude your fast traditionally with dates, followed by mouth-watering meals at Atisuto.

Foodies, head to the Meydan Hotel to enjoy delicious cuisines. The hotel offers Arabic-International inspired Iftar buffet from authentic Emirati dishes, traditional Egyptian and Moroccan bites, local Syrian and Lebanese delicacies to various cuisines including Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Italian and European. The Meydan hotel offers live Oud tunes along with a kid’s entertainment area for families.

Homestead Restaurant and Bakery offers a budget- friendly Iftar experience to its guests with a diverse set menu prepared using local, organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. Guests can spend some quality time together with family and friends in the relaxed countryside farmhouse atmosphere.

At Address Boulevard, the menu boasts all the traditional dishes with a modern touch from the Fertile Crescent. Guests can also enjoy their Iftar with traditional pleasant music.

This is sure to be something special. The Dubai Opera’s auditorium is being transformed into a banquet hall once again, with a buffet catered by live entertainment, Sean Connolly, and cooking stations along with tempting desserts and juices.

Attend the unique floating Iftar at the Queen Elizabeth 2 that has opened an Arabian majlis offering a unique iftar that combines traditional Middle Eastern flavours with a royal service experience.
The Iftar buffet opens from sunset until 9pm and is priced at Dh250 per person / Dh125 for children below 12 / complimentary for children below 4 – inclusive of buffet, soft drinks and water.
