One of the first museums in Moscow, the Kremlin Armoury Chamber was established in 1806, and it houses precious artifacts, historical armor, and weapons.

The Grand Kremlin Palace's complex contains the Kremlin Armoury, commonly referred to as The Armoury Chamber, which is a treasure house. It is housed in a structure designed by renowned architect Konstantin Ton and built-in 1851. The priceless treasures that had been conserved for generations in the Patriarch's vestry and the tsars' treasury served as the foundation for the museum collections. A few of the displays were created in Kremlin workshops, while others were received as gifts from ambassadors.

Ancient State regalia, vestments of Russian Orthodox Church Hierarchs, the largest collection of gold- and silverware created by Russian artisans, ceremonial royal garments and coronation dresses, West European artistic silver, ceremonial arms and armor, carriages, and horse ceremonial harness are all preserved in the Armory Chamber.

Visit The State Armory, which displays more than 4,000 works of applied art produced in Russia as well as other European and Eastern nations between the fourth and early twentieth centuries. The Kremlin Armoury of the Moscow Kremlin is a recognized global museum due to the highest creative level and unique historical and cultural worth of the exhibits.

The Kremlin Armoury Chamber, despite its name, is home to a vast and varied collection of items and artifacts:

Fine handcrafted objects inlaid with gold and priceless stones are a hallmark of Russian art. Ivan the Terrible's favorite stone, enormous blue sapphires, are used to adorn several of them. Several of the legendary Fabergé Eggs and priceless artifacts are among the most priceless items.

The collection of presents provided by ambassadors, which includes unusual items like coconuts, ivory, ostrich eggs, and rare minerals, is one of the most diverse museum collections.

Of course, the Kremlin Armory is home to a sizable collection of lavish historical Russian weaponry, many of which are embellished with ivory, gold, and silver and were made by the best artisans of their period. The museum's collection of weapons includes items from both Russia and many European nations, displaying a diverse array of shields, swords, armor, and weapons.

The carriages in the museum are exquisite works of art with amazing attention to detail, and they are part of one of the most significant collections of carriages in the entire world.

The showy horse saddles and harness worn by the Tsars of the Russian Empire were embroidered in gold thread and embellished with precious stones.
