Izmir doesn't have much going on when it comes to beach activities, but the Aegean Sea coastline offers a lot of sandy beaches that can be reached on a day trip from the city. This beach is surrounded by picturesque scenery, including dunes that sweep in every direction, peaks made of sandstone, and ancient ruins.

Pirlanta Beach is a great area to spend quality time with your family, whether you're wading in the sea or lounging on the sand.

Things to do at Pirlanta Beach:

  • Marvel at the stunning expanse of sun and sea:

The name Pirlanta Beach refers to the beach's beautiful, diamond-like sands. This thin layer of sand covers the whole beach.

The beach and its surroundings have beautiful natural surroundings because it is a protected area—the beach measures between 450 and 500 meters in length. For roughly 200 meters, the sea is relatively shallow, making it an excellent place for families with young children and novice swimmers.

  • You can also bring a picnic and spend the whole day here.

Families will like this beach because of the water's excellent purity and shallowness for a fair distance offshore. It is one of Turkey's beaches that is remote from the crowds, and you may go there for a day trip, stroll, or to see the mesmerizing sunset. The beach is dotted with shacks and sunbeds where you can unwind and sunbathe while admiring the alluring scenery of the luxuriant vegetation that surrounds this beach. It provides a laid-back atmosphere for guests, who mostly come to enjoy the untainted tranquility and beauty of nature.

You may discover several excellent sites near this section of the shoreline.

You may take a pleasant outing along the beach's charming walks, cafés, boutiques, and restaurants. Although one portion is private and requires a fee for entry, most of it is a public beach that is free to use. The beach is bordered by shaded trees and continues for about 600 meters along beautiful grey sand.

  • Visit in the evening to see the lively beachfront restaurant and bar scene.

Along the shore, there is also an outdoor food court where you may savor some of the most alluring treats.

The smattering of cafés placed down the length of the beach provide drinks and straightforward meals in addition to renting out sun chairs and umbrellas. However, many residents only visiting for the day bring their seats and shades.

  • Find the harsher coastal waters at Prlanta, where strong winds and huge waves smash the shore:

Pirlanta Beach is well recognized as a popular kitesurfing location because of the almost consistent offshore winds. Kitesurfing businesses on the sand provide training and equipment rental, making it a popular destination for surfers from all over the globe for one of the most exciting things to do in Izmir. It is hailed as a true paradise for fans of the outdoors and water sports.
